Mint Hot Chocolate

Ingredients
- 1½ cups unsweetened almond milk (or oat milk)
- 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- ¼ teaspoon pure peppermint extract
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- Pinch of sea salt
- Coconut whipped cream, for topping (optional)
Instructions

Warm almond milk in a small saucepan over medium heat — do not boil.

Whisk in cacao powder, maple syrup, peppermint extract, coconut oil, and sea salt until smooth and frothy.

Pour into a mug and top with coconut whipped cream if desired.
Chef's Note
Start with ¼ teaspoon of peppermint extract and adjust to taste — it's potent! Raw cacao is richer in magnesium than cocoa powder.
